Low Profile Over the Cab Ladder Rack for a 2000 Nissan Frontier

Question:

I see that the rack is confirmed to fit my nissan frontier, but what im wondering about is how high over the cab the front of the rack sits. I cant find any photos of one on a frontier, and i just dont like the look when they are too high up off of the roof of the cab. Is it possible to cut and shorten the vertical pieces to lower the height if needed? thanks

The Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # EM07707 while installed on your 2000 Nissan Frontier will sit about 5" up from the roof above the cab. The legs are not adjustable and cannot be shortened. I was able to confirm all this with Erickson.

The above ladder rack is indeed a confirmed fit for your truck. The load bars have a support capacity of 800 lbs and the bar's aerodynamic design reduces drag and wind noise. I have attached a review video of this rack installed on a similar truck for you as well.
