Installing a Curt Class 1 Hitch for 2008 Acura TL
Question:
Hi. I am interested in purchasing a Curt trailer hitch for my 2008 Acura TL to install a Thule bike rack. I think it is better than that of Draw Tite since it is directly attached to the bumper as opposed to trunk pan. Thought that would be more rigid and also probably cause less structural damage if involved in rear hit accident. But would like to know whether the installation will require any trimming/shaving of stock bumper cover or any other body adjustments other than drilling of bumper. Any input on upside/downside between the brands is appreciated. Thanks.

Outside of drilling into the bumper, there are no other modifications required to install the Curt Class I hitch, part # 11321 onto your 2008 Acura TL.
I've included our trailer hitch installation guide to help make your installation process as easy as possible.
