Installing the Tekonsha Kit # 119178KIT on a 2007 Audi A6
Question:
I bought this wiring kit, but am Not sure what wires to slice into. If you had a better diagram for a sedan A6 4.2 L is really appreciate it.

To install the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit # 119178KIT correctly to your 2007 Audi A6 you will simply need to use the included circuit tester to see which light functions you need to splice into. Since vehicle manufacturers are not always consistent with their wiring and since there is no standard for color wires to use this is the best method for installation.
You will want to connect the following wires from the kit to the following functions on your A6
Green - Right Turn/Stop (Stop for 2 wire system)
Yellow - Left Turn/Stop (Stop for 2 wire system)
Brown - Tail/Running Lights
White - Ground
Red - Stop for 3 wire system (tie up Red wire if 2 wire system)
