Grade of Installation Hardware Included with Draw-Tite Hitch 75338 for 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Are the bolts for the trailer hitch stainless steel. hitch # 75338. thanks

Thank you for your recent orders for Draw-Tite hitch # 75338 and wiring for your 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
All of the trailer hitches we offer include the hardware specified by the manufacturer's engineers. This is rarely (if ever) stainless steel. Hitch hardware is usually Grade 5 which provides both the shear strength and tensile strength needed to enable the hitch to meet its specifications when installed on a compatible vehicle. This hardware is given an anti-corrosive treatment so for all intents and purposes it will function as well as stainless steel.
It is not recommended to alter the standard installation process and hardware in any way. Doing so will void the hitch warranty.
