To adapt your B&W gooseneck hitch to your 5th wheel trailer you do have a few options.
The easiest would be to use the B&W Companion # BWRVK3500 which was created by B&W specifically for your type of situation. If you have a short bed and you are needing a sliding 5th wheel hitch then you can use the sliding Companion # BWRVK3400-5W instead.
These hitches actually have some height adjustability too. I have attached a photo which demonstrates the different configurations that you can use. You can also check to see if the pin box on your trailer can be adjusted any more to help with the height difference.
We recommend having a height difference of 5 - 6 inches from the bed rails of your truck to your trailer to ensure that you have enough clearance. You will need to also make sure that this is possible since you have a 3 inch lift on your truck.
