Trailer Hitch Mounted Folding Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a 2012 Kia Sedona
Question:
I purchased a Thule 4 bike carrier and failed to check if it would fit my rondo...of course it didnt. So I just bought a 2012 Sedona to fit the Thule and ordered a class 3, 2 inch hitch. Which foldable carrier do you recommend? thanks

You must really like that Thule bike rack since you got a whole new vehicle just to use it! I can tell you that on similar trailer hitches on earlier models of the Kia Sedona, the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole out to clear the rear bumper is approximately 7 inches.
The folding cargo carrier that offers the most clearance when folded up is Draw-Tite, # 6502. When folded up it measures 7-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest edge of the carrier. When in the down position, it measures 13 inches. I have included a link to the installation details and a link to a video review of the carrier for you to view.
I recommend waiting until the hitch is installed and then take the measurement so you know how much distance there is to clear on your 2012 Kia Sedona.
