Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Honda Fit for Carrying Bike Rack
Question:
Hi! So I have a 2018 Honda Fit EX. I would like to be able to carry 2 mountain bikes in the back of my car. I was thinking of a hitch and a bike rack. Ive never installed one before and dont even know what it entails. What are good recommendations for these products and are there specific videos showing me how to install them? Thank you.

Hitch mounted bike racks are the way to go as they provide the most stable attachment to the vehicle, are the easiest to load/install, and don't touch any vehicle painted surfaces.
For a hitch the Draw Tite part # 24920 would be the hitch to go with as the Curt requires a stabilizer strap when you carry a bike rack. The install for this rack is pretty easy as well. I attached an install video for you to check out that will cover the entire process as well.
I really like the Saris Freedom Superclamp part # SA4025F. This is a lightweight platform rack (which is normally an unheard of combo). That means it'll be easy to install and remove from your vehicle since it's light, but also it'll be very easy to load bikes on since it's a platform rack.
This rack also only touches bikes at the tire so it protects any damage to delicate frame materials or finishes.
