Solution to Reduce Voltage When Vehicle Is Turned On for Brake Light Switch Circuit
Question:
Hi installed a REDARC Tow-Pro elite and have wired the brake trigger into my switch when the vehicle is off its 00.0 apply brake 12.5 but when it’s started or the vehicle is switched on its 00.1 apply brake 12.5 how do I fix it so it’s 0.00 so my brakes disengaged

What you can do is install a diode like part # RM-690 on the stoplight circuit which would stop the .1 of a volt from telling your brake controller it should be looking for deceleration.
