How to Measure to Determine Fit of Carr Mega Step Fold-Up Hitch-Mount Step CARR190011

Helpful Expert Reply:
The USA-made Carr Mega Step Fold-Up Hitch-Mount Step # CARR190011 will fit into any 2-inch hitch so long as the hitch position at the vehicle's rear bumper provides clearance for the step's backing plate. On some vehicles the hitch opening may be recessed under the bumper and this might not allow enough clearance for the backing plate to clear the vehicle bumper. This is not usually the case with an F-150.
Please have a look at the linked videos for this product which will help you determine fit. You can also refer to the linked article that explains how to measure the hitch to determine compatibility of a hitch-mount accessory.
We also have custom-fit step items made for specific trucks. One of the linked pages will allow you to choose your F-150 cab style to then see all custom-fit step products confirmed to fit that cab style. You can also tell me your cab style and I will be glad to send you confirmed step fits.
