Recommended Timbren Suspension Enhancement for 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4
Question:
Hi I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 and It has trailer package with long bed the tow Lbs is around 12,000 I noticed the description says up to 8600 pounds can you please direct me in which timbrens suspension upgrade I need. My travel trailer is about 9,000 lbs. thank you in advance

For your 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4, I recommend the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK15S. The 8600 lb rating is for just the spring's ability and they will not be used to that extent on your vehicle as other parts would fail first. You won't have that much weight on your bumper or in your bed when towing the 12K max as the trailer axles will carry much of that load.
These springs will compress more as more weight is added and will become more rigid as they compress. They will act as shock absorbers taking the brunt when your truck is under heavy load to assist your factory suspension.
