Recommended Performance Tuner for a 2014 Chevy Silverado with the 5.3L V8 Engine

Question:

Looking to buy this tuner for my 2014 Silverado 5.3L. Has KandN Cold air intake and putting exhaust on soon. Main reason is to AFM but want to see what kind of HP increase I might get from this tuner ?

The Superchips Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner part # SU2845 by itself can offer an increase in horsepower up to 18 HP and torque up to 27 TQ. However, the supporting mods you have and will be installing (intake/exhaust) are really going to complement the tuner well. For example, if the cold air intake gave you 15 HP when installed, the use of the above tuner with this intake will likely increase this number from 15 HP to 20 HP. Please note that the above calculations are not exact figures and the only way to confirm exact power increases would be to take your vehicle to a dyno.

For a food analogy, the intake is the fries and the tuner is the ketchup/mustard. Or if you are watching your weight, the intake is the salad and the tuner is the dressing.
