For your 2009 Chevrolet Suburban with a 5.3L engine, you can still install any transmission cooler that will fit in the available space between the grille and A/C condenser. Transmission coolers are not vehicle-specific, so any cooler for which you have the proper mounting space can be installed as long as the transmission has external lines to allow you to tap into the system.
I recommend taking a look at the Derale Transmission Cooler # D13503. This is an excellent and efficient heat exchanger that will prolong the life of your transmission and also improve its overall performance. It measures 11 inches wide, 8-3/4 inches tall, and 7/8 inches deep. You will also need to add the Adapter Fitting # D13035 for your vehicle.
I have attached a short installation video that you can check out along with an article on transmission coolers that you might find helpful.
