Roof Rack and Snowboard/Ski Carrier Recommendation for 2017 Mazda CX-5 with Side Rails  

Question:

I have the side roof rails installed on my 2017 cx-5. Would this ski rack work? Or, does is require the cross bars? On your site, this rack comes up when I enter my model number, but it doesnt show a fit even with the cross bars on the Thule website.

I checked with Thule and they do not show the SnowCat as a direct fit for your 2017 Mazda CX-5 with side rails. They recommend installing a roof rack and then using a carrier like the # TH7325.

For a roof rack the Yakima part numbers # Y00457-0458 and # Y00158 are a confirmed fit and would be a great solution. Thule at this time does not have a fit for your vehicle so this would be the best solution.
