I spoke with my contact at Derale regarding the Engine Oil Cooler Kit, # D15405. He stated that typical pressure through the sandwich adapter on a vehicle at 3,500 RPM is 50 to 60 psi on a normal system and up to 90 on a high flow/high volume system. The adapter itself can easily manage that amount of pressure.

He went on to state that any time a component like this is added to a system there will be some flow loss and oil pressure lost but with this system, it will be a minute loss and it may not even register on an oil pressure gauge.
