Question:
Hi im looking for a tranny cooler for my 2005 silverado 2500hd 6.0. I need one that can be mounted upside down or in any position and also able to connect a hose to it not the factory lines. Do you have anything you recomend?

Transmission coolers such as # D13503 can be installed in any orientation including upside down. The cooler comes with a hose but one way or another you will have to use the factory lines on your 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 with 6.0 liter motor. If you want a larger cooler I recommend # D13504.
The path of the fluid goes from the transmission and into the factory cooler (whether internal to the radiator or external). Then it will go into the supplemental cooler and from there it will go back to the transmission. Hose fitting # D13035 is recommended so you won't have to cut then flare the factory lines.
Another option is a pan cooler, # D14207. With it you would not have to use the factory transmission lines at all. The pan cooler is designed for the 4L80E transmission.
