How to Pick Out Correct Rise/Drop Ball Mount for Cadillac SRX When Towing
Question:
I just installed one of your hitches and wire harness on my 2016 Cadillac SRX. The hitch is at 18inch from ground to center of receiver opening. What is the recommended height ball mount part number? for a 2inch ball?

Expert Reply:
That depends on the coupler height of your trailer when sitting level. You'd need to measure from the bottom lip of your coupler down to the ground when the trailer is level. Whatever the difference is between that number and the height from the ground to the top of hitch opening on your vehicle is the amount of rise/drop that you need.
I attached a help article that covers this as well down below.
