Troubleshooting Multi-Switch on A-ipower Parallel Generator
Question:
Hi, i bought 2 A-ipower 289-sua2000i generators and Im very happy with them so far, but Ive noticed that the multi-switch on one of them moves around more freely may i say?, than the other one. Is this normal for the multi-switch to move around so much cause the switch on my other generator is more stiff.

The housing on the switch may not be as sturdy as the other parallel generator, but as long as it functions properly I wouldn't be concerned. You can always look at the housing to see if it has any issue or if the fit is simply not as tight but all the connections are still firm and correct. If you bought them recently there is a 1 year parts and labor warranty as well as a 2 year parts replacement warranty.
It could very well be that the switch just needs tightening, but it could be that the part is not functioning as it should.
