Will the Draw-Tite Mounting Bracket Work with Factory 7-Way Connector on Vehicle
Question:
Will this bracket accomodate the oem plug that came with my vehicle. There is nothing wrong with the existing plug. The hitch has rusted out and the oem plug bracket is attached to that hitch. The replacement hitch I will be ordering from you doesnt have a bracket for the plug hence I need a new bracket. Please advise.

The Draw-Tite Mounting Bracket # 18138 referenced in your question is designed to mount most standard 7-Way connectors. To ensure this will work with your existing 7-Way, I recommend taking a couple measurements on the connector. This mounting bracket features a mounting hole diameter of 2-1/16 inches. I have included an image with this and the bolt hole dimensions labeled so you can compare it to your connector.
This mounting bracket includes all the screws and nuts required for mounting it to your new trailer hitch. You can also add the Short Bracket # 18140 or Long Bracket # C57202 for a no-drill application.
I have attached a couple short installation videos on this product that you can also check out.
