Roof Rack Recommendation for a 2002 Honda CR-V
Question:
Just checking to see what the load capacity is for these Thule crossbars and to verify all the parts I would need to have a roof rack on my 2002 CRV

For your 2002 Honda CR-V, there are three parts you will need to install crossbars on the roof. First, you will need the Thule Rapid Podium foot pack, # TH460R, to provide a base for the crossbars. Next you will need 53 inch SquareBars, # TH712200. Finally you need the fit kit, # THKIT3050.
With this roof rack installed the capacity is 150 pounds. Though the rack may be capable of more than that, the capacity of the roof of the vehicle is lower than what the rack is capable of. You will need to consult the vehicle owners manual to determine the weight carrying capacity of your roof.
