Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan
Question:
Bought new from etrailer wiring harness for 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan in July. Installed and hooked up to trailer work perfect. Today, first time using it to tow, hooked up to trailer and no trailer lights. Used another truck to hook up to trailer and trailer lights work fine. Back to Dodge, fuse, ok, power from battery to converter and past coverter good. Green, yellow, brown, wires before converter work with test light, but nothing after converter box work. Very dissapointed! Lorraine Lee

The converter box is shorted out. Typically this happens when there's a short on the trailer wiring that takes out the converter box. They are actually designed to do this to prevent the short from making it's way to the vehicle's wiring.
For your 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan, I recommend replacing your harness with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56331.
