Solar Panel Charger that Could be Used to Charge Stored RV Battery
Question:
Have a new Newmar Baystar gas motorhome...which has 4 coach batteries. Concerned about the batteries slowly draining during storage and am considering a solar panel perhaps connected to the ladder covered parking-ladder outside cover and in sun. What product do you recommend to trickle charge all 4 batteries 12v in parallel.

Expert Reply:
If your batteries are all wired together in parallel you could use the Solar Panel charger part # PTW2997 which can give up to a 2.5 watt charge in sunlight. It wouldn't do much but it would keep a charged battery topped off if you had sunlight.
