Supplemental Braking System Recommendation for Flat Towing Vehicle w LED Indicator in Tow Vehicle
Question:
I have a 2006 Chevrolet HHR that I used to tow with a motor home. It has the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System installed on it. In the motor home, the installer put in a tiny light that was activated whenever the HHRs brakes were being applied so I knew they were, in fact, working. I am buying another motor home and would like a similar notification light installed as well. Is this such a device? I believe it might be, however there is no mention in its description must how the driver is notified. I should mention that there is a small wire with a female plug at its end that was connected to a male plug coming from the motor home. If this device is not what Im looking for, do you sell anything like I attempted to describe? Thank you for any help you can provide.

That light was part of the supplemental braking system that was installed on the HHR and tow vehicle.
For a system that we like better than the Inivisi Brake that also has the light we have the SMI DUO part # SM99251 which would be a great option for your 2006 Chevy HHR. It also has the light indicator so that you know the brake of the toad are being applied.
We like the DUO best because it's much easier to install and works really well.
