Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller Operation Lights
Question:
I have the brake controller wired to your specifications I push on the brakes nothing happens when I put a test light from ground to the blue wire it lights up the plus light on the controller lights up but that is the only way I can get it to anything any idea what is wrong trailer brake controller voyager

The brake controller is working properly. When you put your test light on the blue wire, that is the brake controller output wire and it creates a draw on that wire to power your test light. This will tell the connector that there is a "trailer" connected and that light on the controller for trailer connection will light up on your Tekonsha Voyager # 39510. If you leave this test light connected and hit your brake pedal, then the light will change color to red as long as your brake lights are on. If you hit the manual override slider, you will also get that activated red color. This will not happen without a draw on that brake controller output wire, so you won't get it if there is no "trailer" connected.
