Recommended Top Plate for Old Hidden Hitch 3 Bike Carrier
Question:
I have a Hidden Hitch 3 bike carrier that goes into a 2 towing hitch receiver. The top plate has been lost along with the 2 knobs and bolts which secure the top plate. Looking through your website, the SP-102 appears to be the part that I need, but when I read the existing QandA, one of the questions asked about the distance between the threaded holes. The answer was 7 inches. When I checked the distance for the carrier that I have, the distance is only 6.25 inches. The rest of the measurements appear to be the same or very close. The pads are 5 center to center. Is there another top plate that will work or is this the one that I need?

The Replacement Top Plate for Hidden Hitch Bike Rack # SP-102 is the closest thing that is made to fit your old bike rack. Hidden Hitch is no longer a brand name that manufactures products, so I recommend you drill holes to match your 6-1/4 inch spacing. There is no longer a perfect replacement part for you bike rack and this will be the closest you will find.
