Easiest Place to Measure 5 Lug Trailer Hub to Determine Bolt Pattern
Question:
In need of a brake drum and hub assy. When I measure for 5 on 4.5 or 4.75, where should I be measuring? Outside of stud to outside of stud? It is a Dexter drum, Max diam 10.06 also says HD-1000. thanks for your help.

I have an easier way to determine your bolt pattern. You'd need to measure the distance between the center of one stud to the center of the stud adjacent to it.
If the distance is:
2-5/8" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2
2-3/4" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4
3" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 5
3-1/4" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2
