Off Road Timbren Axle Less Recommendation that Can Be Used with Jeep Bolt Pattern
Question:
I want to run the Timbren HD axles with the 4inch Lift on an expedition tear style trailer ASR 35HDS02. Can I use a hub assembly drum/brakes with a 5 on 5 bolt pattern or only the 12inch 6 bolt pattern?

The part # ASR35HDS02 only has hubs with 6 lug patterns and up since it's a higher rated system. It's odd because the axle is 3,500 lb rated but designed for 6k rated hubs. Isn't the 5 lug pattern you mentioned the Jeep bolt pattern?
Typically the Jeep wheel bolt pattern is 5 on 5 inch. For an idler hub that will fit the spindles of the part # ASR1THDS03 and have the correct bolt pattern we have the # AKIHUB-550-35-K. This is a 3,500 lb trailer hub. For a hub drum we have the # AKHD-550-35-EZ-K.
The # ASR1THDS03 has a 4 inch lift built into it but it is 2.2k rated.
