Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch For 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty w/8 Foot Bed & Factory Rail Kit
Question:
Will this hitch fit my truck? Want the added capacity 25k.

While a great hitch, the B&W hitch part # BWRVK3600 does not fit your factory puck system because it is designed for Rams. Instead, the B&W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3300 is what you need to fit your F-350. However, it only has a maximum gross towing weight of 20,000 lbs. For the additional capacity the Curt Q25 hitch part # C16039 and the Reese M5 hitch part # RP30922 will fit your truck.
The Curt Q25 part # C16039 is a heavy duty fifth wheel hitch with a gross towing weight of 24,000 lbs and vertical load limit of 6,000 lbs. It has a 3-point indicator system that uses a color coding to tell you the hitch status. It also has a simple hookup. The Curt also has a fast and easy installation and drops into the four receiver pucks built into your truck bed.
I recommend the Reese M5 part # RP30922 because it is a heavy duty fifth wheel hitch with gross towing weight of 27,000 lbs with vertical load limit of 6,750 lbs. Keep in mind that its capacity is limited by the maximum weight rating of your factory rail kit. It has 4-Way head pivot to improve efficiency and to provide flexibility. It has a 9 inch wide funnel which is larger than most funnels for guiding the king pin into the hitch. The jaw-to-king-pin contact design is well done and provides for maximum security and minimum rattle. It is pretty easy to setup and is very durable.
