The Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater part # KH11812 for your 2012 Hyundai Genesis 3.8L V6 will install on the right hand (Passengers) side of the engine in the rear most (Closest To Firewall) plug.
Don't forget to use the Kat's Heaters Plug Cover part # KH28405 to prevent dirt and debris from getting inside the connector while not in use. I have attached an illustration to give you a better idea where the right rear plug is located.
