Are Brake Actuating Coupler Master Cylinders Universal Fit?

saw your vid of this old trailer MC replacement. are the part numbers used/and the actual parts universal. I need to replace my mc and wondering if i can just use the parts you installed. get back to me when u have a moment thanks

For a surge brake actuator, the master cylinders are not universal fit. There are different styles and there are different psi levels for disc brakes versus drum brakes. For instance the Master Cylinder for Titan Actuators - Disc Brakes # T4747100 cannot work in place of the Demco Actuator Replacement Master Cylinder for Drum Brakes # 5650 simply because it won't fit the mounting correctly or hold the same brake pressure. If the mounting locations and the pressure were ideal, then you would be able to interchange them because they will move the brake fluid to your brake cylinders without issue. I've attached a link to all our master cylinder options for you.

To install a master cylinder, I recommend using the Brake Bleeder Vacuum # PTW87030 to keep air out of the system.
