How to Carry a Trailer Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier and Bike Rack Together at the Back of an RV
Question:
I bought a hitch cargo carrier for my class B rv. How can I add a bike carrier to it? Is there such a bike carrier I can install on the front of my RV like the ones they use on the city buses?

What you can do in order to carry both a bike rack and a cargo carrier is to use Curt Dual Receiver, # D-192. This receiver fits in a 2 inch trailer hitch and has two 2 inch receivers. It has a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds. The bike rack, bikes, cargo carrier and contents all will count against the tongue weight.
You will also want to make sure you are using a bike rack that is rated for use behind a motor home or trailer. I have included a link to all of the bike racks that we carry that can be sued behind your RV.
