Does Factory Rear Air Conditioning on a 2017 Chevy Traverse Affect Trailer Wiring Harness # C56245
Question:
I am having problems with the kit . It works most of lights up but malfunctions on blinkers. In the instruction video it says to insure that you dont have rear AC I think I do its a new truck and and no one is ever in back but on dash next to ac it has a rear button, Is this the problem and what do I do?

Having factory rear air conditioning on your 2017 Chevy Traverse would not affect the fit or function of Curt wiring harness # C56245. It does, however, affect # C56181 or any other harness that plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring. From what I understand the AC components are in the way making it difficult to install a harness that plugs in line with the tail light wiring. But if you managed to gain access it will work.
So something else is happening. When you say that the turn signals malfunction what exactly are they doing? And is this just on the trailer, just the vehicle, or both? In the mean time you can take a look at the wiring troubleshooting guide I have linked below for you.
