Does Install of B and W Companion Slider BWRVK3370 Require Lubing Ford Rail Kit Pucks
Question:
I am using a BW Companion 5th wheel hitch, the question is should the pucks in the truck be lubed before engaging the hitch pucks? Thanks for your time.

Expert Reply:
B and W does not require you to lube or grease the pucks of your 2016 Ford F-350 with the rail kit when installing their slider Companion part # BWRVK3370. It wouldn't be a bad idea or hurt anything if you did though.
The Reese hitches that fit the same puck design do recommend using a lithium grease like the part # L11354 on the feet of the hitches to allow them to work as well as possible.
