Recommended Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch Compatible with 2016 Ford F-350 Short Bed with Crew Cab

I recently bought a 2016 crew cab f350 short bed and I wanted to use my 16k power pull from my long bed can I buy a kit to convert it to a slider?

I have a solution for you, but there is not a conversion for your Valley hitch to a slider. Valley went out of business, so I can't even pull a hitch to test fit with another company's slider base which wouldn't be supported by the manufacturer.

What I recommend is the Reese 16K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider # RP30051. This hitch has the dual jaw design for better king pin contact as well as the square tubes for easy adjustment of the 10 inch travel between locking positions. I've attached a video to assist.

I have also attached the link to slider options if you want to compare. You may also want to consider the wiring harness # 50-97-410 to put a second 7-way trailer connection in the bed of your truck for easier access.
