Expert Reply:
3/4 inch diameter pipe actually has an outside diameter of 1.05 inch. So the mounting brackets of the Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch Kit # PLR458-017 are designed to fit a pipe with an overall outside diameter of 1.05 inch.
