Trailer Hitch that Fits Right Under the Bumper on a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500
Question:
I was wondering if this is the same hitch as the 15323 hitch on Curts website. I had just purchased a Curt 15323 from a different source and the hitch sat a couple inches below my bumper. I am looking for something that will sit as flush to the bumper as possible and is a class 5 maybe 4. I have a 2009 GMC sierra 1500 extended cab but not the long bed option. Thanks for your time.

Yes. The "C" in front of the part number, # C15323, is just how we designate it as a Curt part. The Class IV and V trailer hitches available for your 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 all set at approximately the same location. That is to say with a minimal, if any, gap between the receiver and the bumper.
The Class III hitch # 13322 sits up tighter against the bumper, see the linked video, but as a Class III it isn't rated as high as a IV or V. The higher Class hitches are beefier so they may need a little more space.
