Question:
Just purchased a curt hitch and a curt wiring harness last week. For some reason none of my trailer lights work,I know 100 sure that no problem with the trailer lights as I hooked it up with my buddys truck and it work. I do have a factory tow package. Do i still need some type of relay?

You will want to check your functions on your vehicle without the trailer connected using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. This will tell you if your vehicle is wired correctly. I checked your order and you got the harness for the factory 7-way. If the functions are not working, then I recommend checking your fuses and relays for trailer functions. Your owners manual will show you where to look.
If you don't have the functions of the factory 7-way, then I recommend the Curt Relay Kit for Nissan Aftermarket Tow Package # C57000 to activate the functions.
Another option is to get the 4 Pole Trailer Connector (Includes Install Kit) # C59496 that splices into your factory wiring for signals yet uses a powered circuit protected module to protect your electrical system from overload.
If your testing shows proper function on your vehicle, then it is most likely a ground issue on your trailer that is at fault. Sometimes a vehicle with a stronger wiring system will allow a trailer to function with a ground that is less than ideal. You will want to make sure your trailer ground is free of all rust and corrosion and has a bare metal to metal connection.
