Recommended Stacked Fan Cooler for a 2005 Infiniti FX35

Question:

I have a 2005 supercharged Infiniti FX35. Want to buy new oil and tranny coolers with fans. Read that the stacked coolers with fans work best. I see Derale has atomic cool, Hyper cool, Hyper cool extreme...etc..I currently use the BandM supercooler plate/fin style but dont think it is that good as my trans temp are always high on summer scorching days and when I drive up the mountain where I live...Would the 13" stacked 25row Hyper cooler with fan be a good choice? As i think my space is limited, 15 row would be a bit too small and the 40 row a bit too big.. Kindly let me know what u suggest and can I order directly from you..tks a lot

A stacked cooler and fan combo will be the most effective way to cool either the transmission fluid or the engine oil in your 2005 Infiniti FX35. The Derale Hyper-Cool Remote Cooler Assembly w/ Fan part # D15865 will be an excellent stacked cooler for you. This cooler can be used to cool both engine oil and transmission fluid though you will need one for each.

The stacked fan attached to this cooler has a 500 CFM capability which will provide you with superior cooling power regardless of the mounting location and ambient air temperature. This cooler will require 13" wide x 10" tall x 5-5/8" deep of space to be mounted on your vehicle. You will need to either run all new 1/2" lines to both the factory transmission cooler and engine oil filter or use a -10AN to 11/32" hose barb adapter to use the factory cooling lines for this to work.

This stacked cooler combo does not include the necessary components needed for installation therefore, you will need a few additional items. In order to install the stacked fan cooler in line with the vehicle's engine oil cooling system you will need an installation kit like the Derale Remote Engine Oil Cooler Installation Kit part # D15751. In order to install the stacked fan cooler in line with your factory transmission cooler you will need the Derale Remote Mounting Kit for Transmission Coolers part # D13023.
