When choosing replacement electric brakes for your 2005 Keystone Everest 5th Wheel Trailer, you will need to first determine a couple of things. I recommend verifying the axle capacity on the trailer, as well as measuring the inside diameter and depth of your existing drums. I have included a picture that shows the measurements needed.
You will also want to make sure that the brake assembly you choose has a bolt pattern that matches the mounting flange on your axle.
For example, the etrailer.com Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA includes 12 inch x 2 inch assemblies that are designed for 5,200 to 7,000 pound axles. They use a 5 bolt pattern for the mounting flange. I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection of electric trailer brakes that you can look through.
Then to pick out a replacement grease seal, you will need to measure the diameter of the spindle where the grease seal rides. I recommend using a digital caliper like # PTW80157 as the measurement will need to be exact. You will also want to measure the hub bore where the existing seal rides. I have again included a link to our available selection of grease seals. Once there, you can filter through the inner and outer diameter needed by using the links on the left side of the page.
