Solution for Forgetting to Activate Fifth Wheel Slider In Tight Turns

Question:

I recently blew out my back window while towing my 5th wheel and was wondering if there were any guides I could attach or something so I knew when I got too close or have you heard for anything, I have a slider but did not think the turn was that tight.

I have one solution for you, but there isn't an alert system available that's designed to alert you when you are in too tight of a turn with your trailer.

A better option would be a fifth wheel hitch that slides automatically as you make tight turns giving you the clearance you need without requiring you to remember to activate it. For that the part # DM8550034 would be your best option. As you turn it slides back automatically.
