Weight of Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers CC-275
Question:
Two questions: 1 While I know from the specs that this item can carry a combined weight of 100 pounds between the bike rack and bikes mounted to it, what I also need to know is the actual weight of the Carlson Bike Bunk so that I can figure the total weight being added to my trailers tongue as I assume I have would have to account for such weight to insure that I dont exceed my tow vehicles tongue weight and rear axle weight load limits. 2 In another QandA where you recommended this I saw that the answer stated that there was a hyperlink on the Carlson Bike Bunk product page that links to a document listing all of the bike racks that are approved for RV bumper mounting and, as such, are also approved for mounting onto the Carlson Bike Bunk. I did not see such a link. How can I get that list? Thanks.

Using the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs Item # CC-275 would increase the trailer's tongue weight but it won't be equal to the weight of the loaded carrier. This is due to the position of the rack being a bit further back on the frame. But as a guide you could still calculate it as if it were closer to the coupler. The rack itself weighs approximately 45 pounds so if loaded to capacity that would be 145 pounds.
The link in question is on that answer page. I have included it here as well. They appear below the answer closer to the bottom of the page in a section called Feature Help Information.
