How to Pick BedRug Mat for 2016 Ram ProMaster 1500 136 inch Wheelbase
Question:
I have a 2017 Ram Promaster 136inch high roof. I am looking for an opinion on whether to choose the thermoplastic mat or the cargo mat. Whichever I choose will be the base layer to flooring. I will be putting 1/2inch plywood on top of the mat, then sub-floor, then a press fit type flooring system. Do you have a recommendation? Thx.

You have two Bedrug options for your 2016 Ram Promaster 1500 with a 136 inch wheelbase. You have the carpeted option which is part # VRDP14M that has foam padding underneath it or you have the # VTDP14M which is a termoplastic with a 1/2 inch thick cushion underneath. This is the heavier duty application and is what we recommend for commercial applications.
The carpet option is better for infrequent use or more fragile loads.
