Recommendation to Upgrade Fastway Weight Distribution System to Higher Tongue Weight Capacity
Question:
I have a Fastway E2 hitch rated for 10,000# GTW with round bars rated for 1,000# TW. My new camper has a 941# TW and my 07 Tundra sags regardless of all the adjustments I and the dealer have made. I am thinking I am over the 1,000# rating. Do you have a 1,200# round bar replacement for this product? I saw a Fastway trunnion style hitch, but Id rather not replace the entire system.

I do have a solution for you, however there are no replacement bars available that will upgrade your existing Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System # FA94-00-1000. The 1,000 pound tongue weight capacity on this unit is the highest capacity round bar system that Fastway offers, so there is not a round bar available that can increase its operating range.
It does sound like you are exceeding the capacity of your existing system with your new trailer and vehicle. I recommend verifying the loaded tongue weight of your trailer, as if it is ready for a trip, with a tongue weight scale like the etrailer # e99044. Also keep in mind that the total tongue weight of your setup will also include any added cargo weight coming from behind the rear axle of your Toyota Tundra.
If you find that your new total tongue weight is comfortably below 1,2000 pounds, then going with the Fastway Trunnion System # FA92-00-1200 will be a great option. If you find that the total tongue weight is creeping close to or exceeding this weight, then a system with a higher capacity will be needed. I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection of weight distribution systems that you can look through.
