What is Weight Capacity of Andersen Safety Chains # RM3230
Question:
My question is about the Andersen safety chains. I know it is a state by state requirement, but I was curious about the strength ratings of the components. Say, god forbid, my 36foot trailer comes off my hitch would the chains and all the components actually do what its designed for, or will they snap with that extreme loading? Thats my concern with that product. Thanks.

The Andersen safety chains part # RM3230 that you referenced have a capacity of 24,000 lbs. If the weight of your trailer is less than that this will work well as a safety chain that won't break.
