Trailer Valet Reason For Pneumatic Tires Versus Solid Wheels
Question:
Is this the newer version of the Trailer Valet XL with solid wheels? Rather than the wheels with Tubes?

The Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive - 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1,000 lbs TW # TVXL25 uses pneumatic tires. There is not a version that has solid wheels. My contact at trailer valet said they have no plans of making a version with solid wheels because it wouldn't allow the traction for movement and braking needed and the weight capacity would be greatly reduced.
The issues that some have had with the pneumatic tires is operator error. The unit has to be in motion to turn properly and spinning it while under load without forward or reverse motion is too much for almost any tire sidewall to handle.
