Comparing 2-Inch Class III Hitches for 2015 Dodge Journey

The fit of trailer hitches available for your 2015 Dodge Journey AWD does not depend on whether the transmission is all-wheel-drive (AWD) or front-wheel-drive (RWD).

Both 1-1/4-inch Class II and 2-inch Class III hitches are offered and we always recommend going for the 2-inch hitch since it will offer higher weight capacity and be able to use more of the available hitch-mount accessories that are available, things like bike racks and cargo carriers. Between the 2-inch hitch options from Curt and Draw-Tite, parts # C13201 and # 75648, it is really a toss-up since capacities and installation are identical. Both are good products but the Curt is USA-made.
