How to Determine if B and W Companion Slider Hitch will Allow Tool Box to Fit In Front
Question:
what is the measurement from the center of the gooseneck pin mount to the farthest edge of the front of the hitch? I have a 6.5ft bed with a BandW gooseneck w/ a toolbox in the bed. 18.5 inches from center of pin mount to the toolbox. Thanks for any help ,

I spoke to my contact at B and W and she verified that from the center of where your gooseneck ball attaches to the front of the B and W Companion Slider Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Slider part # BWRVK3400 measures 15 inches. So if you were to measure from the center of your gooseneck ball forward 15 inches you would know if this would interfere with your toolbox.
You should also note that if your tool box sticks up higher than the bed rails of your truck you might see interference while making tight turns. If it sits flush then you should have no problems.
