Which Base Plate Kit Works With Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522 On 1992 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
What mounting brackets will fit this tow bar for a 1992 Jeep Wrangler

Expert Reply:
I contacted our representative at Roadmaster about the compatibility of the Roadmaster Base Plate Kit, part # 1409-1, and the Roadmaster Base Plate Kit, part # 1409-3, will both work with the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar, part # RM-522.
The Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar is good choice, as it is non-binding, which makes for easier hook up and disconnecting of your Jeep.
In addition to a tow bar and base plate kit, you will need safety cables, part # RM-643, Diode Wiring Kit, part # RM-154 or Magnetic Lighting, part # RM-2120 and a supplemental braking system, part # RM-9400 to flat-tow your 1992 Jeep Wrangler.
Before towing your Jeep, you will want to contact your dealership for specific steps needed to take when flat-towing. Some vehicles must be equipped with a transmission lube pump, axle disconnect or free-wheeling hubs before being towed.
I have linked instructions and a video review of the Falcon tow bar and an FAQ on flat-towing a vehicle for reference.
