Recommended Trailer Brake Controller and Installation Kit for 2010 Chevrolet Colorado

Is there any wiring kit to install a brake controller on a chevy colorado 2010 Z71 4x4 ? and what brake controller you recomend

If your 2010 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 has a factory-installed 7-way trailer connector then the wiring needed to install a brake controller will already be there under the dash. I like the Prodigy P2 # 90885 proportional controller for its proven reliability and ease of set-up. This is an excellent choice for all applications. If you want the very best, go for the P3 # 90195 which includes additional features like a big display and the ability to store trailer settings.
If the Colorado does not have a factory 7-way then you will need a few wiring parts to install the Prodigy. You will need to have a 4-pole harness, such as # 118301. Please refer to the linked installation video. And you will need our brake controller install kit # ETBC7. This kit includes a 7-way, wiring, connectors - everything you need to wire in a brake controller, as shown in the linked video.
