Ball Mount Kit To Allow 17 inch Tall Trailer to Be Towed Level with 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan
Question:
Will the Draw Tite Class III 75579 and the 2 3/4inch rise ball mount kit EBMK4 give me enough rise to handle a trailer that specifies a 17inch height?

When we installed the hitch part # 75579 on a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan we found that the hitch height from the ground to the top of the hitch opening was 12-3/4 inches. To allow a trailer with a 17 inch coupler height to be towed level you would need 5-1/4 inches of rise.
So instead for a ball mount you would want the part # 4282. Then for hitch balls part # A-90 for a 2 inch ball or part # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball.
