To tow your 2011 Honda CR-V 4-wheel drive with your 2008 Jayco Class C 35 ft motor home, you will need base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, wiring or lighting, and a supplemental braking system.

The Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit, part # RM-521559-4, is a good option for base plates for your CR-V. The EZ4 Base Plate Kit features removable drawbars so that when the vehicle is not being towed, the base plates are less visible.

A tow bar that I recommend is the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, part # RM-520, which is non-binding tow bar. A non-binding tow bar makes for easier hook up and disconnecting of your CR-V.

For safety cables, you will need the Roadmaster 64 Inch Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables, part # RM-643. Safety cables will keep your CR-V attached to your motor home if your tow bar were to disconnect from the hitch ball.

For lighting, you could use the Magnetic Towing Light Kit, part # RM-2120. If you are going to be towing your CR-V often, I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, part # RM-154 as it just plugs into your vehicle each time you tow.

Most states require that you use a supplemental brake system when flat-towing a vehicle. For this, I recommend Roadmaster Portable Braking System, part # RM-9400, which helps reduce wear on your motor home brakes and helps you slow down.

Before towing your CR-V, you want to contact your Honda dealership for specific steps needed to take when flat-towing. Some vehicles must be equipped with a transmission lube pump, axle disconnect or free-wheeling hubs before being towed.

I have linked instructions and a video review of the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, part # RM-520. I have also linked an FAQ on flat-towing vehicles.
